The main focus of our work is the unu Scooter Pro. Other platforms are either under research or present as hardware, with varying levels of maturity.

unu

A Berlin-based scooter manufacturer that went bankrupt in 2022. Two current model lines are in circulation: the Scooter Pro (in-house design, significantly better documented and supported) and the Scooter Move (same body shell, very different internals). Our overview of the brand and current state of affairs is on the unu page.

Horwin

A Chinese manufacturer with European distribution. The Horwin EK1 is my workshop scooter; its page covers the mods (keyless go, AirTag, dashcams, running lights) and the current state of ECU research.

Platforms

Two related topics are tracked separately under "Motor controllers":

• Lingbo ECU: the control unit fitted in the unu Pro and Horwin EK1 (and various other Chinese brands). Reverse engineering is ongoing; a dedicated overview page will follow.
• VESC-based ECU replacement: a drop-in replacement built on the open-source VESC firmware, specifically for the unu Scooter Pro. Early stage.
